The Christmas Lights and Frocks

Only me again, I'll try to keep this as up to date as I can during my pantomime run, call it my panto blog if you will....

Thursday Night (26.11.09) myself and the rest of the Dick Whittington Cast will be turning the Christmas lights on in Yeovil, this is the first time I have turned on Christmas Lights which aren't my own, I am very looking forward to it, and hope we have a great night, we will be in the town between 5.30pm and 7.00pm.  If you are about please do come and see us!

Yesterday I picked up the final couple of dresses, I now have my complete wardrobe, I don't want to give too much away about the dresses but the second half has some great frocks!! Once the show is up and running I'll try and get a couple of pictures up for you.  At the last count I have 12 costume changes!! Eckers, I hope there is someone there to help me!

I am still waiting on 4 pairs of tights to arrive, and some eye lash glue!!!  I will survive without them tomorow but will be needing them soon, so hope they show up! It's a hard life being a dame!

Anyway stay tuned, I'll be back in the next couple of days to let you know how the switch on went.

Pip Pip!

Run up to Panto

Not long to go now untill I leave Birmingham and hit the stage down in Yeovil as Sarah the cook in Pantoni's Production of Dick Whittington!

With this being my last weekend at work, I am now buisly trying to get everything ready, we are putting the finishing touches to all of my dresses, this year 12 changes in all! So my costume maker is pulling her hair out trying to get everything ready for me!  My two brand spanking new wigs arrived for me yesterday, and they look wonderful! I'll get some pictures of them up for you shortly, a very big thank you to Gerry at Planet Visual for getting them done so quickly for me! :)

On Thursday I am heading down to Yeovil to turn the Christmas Lights on there! More information to follow on that!

This week I went to the German market, luckily for me it started alot earlier this year, as normally I now wouldn't have time to get there before heading off to do the panto! So was great to pop there and have some German food and drink! If you are in the Birmingham area and fancy a great evening out do check out the Frankfurt Christmas Market! Great Fun, but wrap up warm!

~Anyhoo talk to you soon, I'm off for a coffee~
